Biography

Heather Scott joined the UVA School of Architecture in August 2026. As the Dean’s Assistant, she provides administrative support to the Dean, Associate Dean of Finance, and Chief of Staff, while serving as a liaison with departments and maintaining coordination with the Provost, Vice-Presidents’, and President’s offices. She also provides coordination between other departments and the Dean’s Office for major school events, lectures, and receptions. Her background includes serving as a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) for the federal government at both the U.S. Department of State and the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency as well as deep experience in the philanthropic sector with community foundations.
