Biography
Brittany Olivari is a Lecturer at the University of Virginia where she teaches undergraduate design studio. She is a registered Architect at Two Street Studio and works in the Charlottesville office. The firm embraces a wide range of project types including multifamily and single-family residential projects as well as larger commercial projects. Prior to joining Two Street Studio, she was a Senior Associate at Gray Organschi Architecture, a firm focused on timber as a sustainable solution to urban construction.
Olivari has previous teaching experience at Yale University, where she co-taught a graduate elective course on alternative practice and a required practice management course with Associate Dean, Phil Bernstein. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Virginia, graduating with the Faculty Awarded Design Excellence Award. She completed her Master of Architecture from the Yale School of Architecture where she was nominated for the H.I. Feldman Prize and received the James Gamble Rogers Fellowship.
