Biography
Brian Slusher is a graduate of the Southern California Institute of Architecture, where he completed a Master of Architecture and Master of Science in Design Theory and Pedagogy. For his graduate thesis Brian was awarded the Gehry Prize for Best Graduate Thesis as well as the METROPOLIS Future100 Class of 2026. His work examines the politics of public space, the civic role of architects, and the status of images and knowledge in contemporary culture. Prior to joining UVA, Brian practiced in Los Angeles, including at Bestor Architecture and David Hertz Architects.
