Join Assistant Professors of Architecture Katie MacDonald and Kyle Schumann, co-founders of After Architecture, for a discussion about Sylvan Scrapple, an installation recently designed and exhibited in Columbus, Indiana at the fourth cycle of Exhibit Columbus: Public by Design. The project explores waste utilization, drawing parallels across cooking and building.

The exhibition also features Table Scraps, a collection of recipes that make use of food waste, displayed as life-size placemats. Recipe exhibitors include ︎John Comazzi (Associate Dean of Academics), Shiza Chaudhary (M.Arch. ‘25), Ammon Embleton (M.Arch. ‘24), Isaac Goodin (M.Arch. ‘25),︎ Emily Ploppert (M.Arch. ‘24), Margaret Saunders (M.Arch. ‘25),︎ Anna Denoyer, Esteban Garcia Bravo, Mikhail Grinwald,︎ Deniz Gürata Hayırlı, and Stephanie Sang Delgado.


This exhibition is supported by the Office of the Dean's Summer Research Grants, the Jefferson Trust, and the Vice Provost for the Arts.
