Creativity + Relaxation is a new public art and mental well-being initiative developed by the Office of Student Affairs and Professor of Architecture Sanda Iliescu. This project invites the A-School community to pause, de-stress, and reconnect with their senses through creative engagement.

The first installation, The Gifts of Trees, draws inspiration from Constantin Brancusi’s Sculpture for the Blind and Shel Silverstein’s book, The Giving Tree. It offers a quiet, reflective space where art meets mindfulness—encouraging moments of stillness, sensory exploration, and emotional grounding.

In a fast-paced academic environment, this initiative underscores the importance of mental well-being through creativity and presence. We invite you to visit, reflect, and take a mindful moment for yourself.
