Biography

Monica Shenouda is an art and architectural historian with broad experience in research, teaching, editing and curation. Based in Italy, she has taught for various study abroad programs, including the UVA School of Architecture in Venice program since 2013. Her editorial projects have included Michelangelo, Drawing and the Invention of Architecture and Giuliano da Sangallo and the Ruins of Rome by Cammy Brothers as well as Eleonora di Toledo and the Creation of the Boboli Gardens by Bruce Edelstein. While a graduate student, she was a curatorial fellow at the University of Virginia's Fralin Art Museum where she curated the Morality in Print: William Hogarth and Francisco de Goya exhibition.
