Beyond admitted-student events, you’re invited to take part in the School of Architecture’s Public Program Series. These lectures, conversations, panels, and gallery talks are open to all and bring together emerging and established practitioners, scholars, and thought leaders exploring the most pressing questions shaping design and the built environment.
Attending a public program is a great way to experience the intellectual energy of the A-School and hear the range of voices that animate our community.

Experience studio in action. See how ideas evolve through design inquiry, dialogue, critique, and making, and connect with faculty about the program’s approach to design education and research.
Landscape Architecture
The Landscape Architecture Program Immersion will be held from 1:30 PM – 5:00 PM
Visit LAR 6020 – Foundation Studio II and tour the Morven Farm and Allied Street Labs, where students test materials, build full-scale installations, and apply studio concepts in real-world landscapes.
Urban + Environmental Planning
Participate in PLAN 5580 – Park Redesign, including a site visit to Riverview Park to explore student-led work developed in collaboration with the City of Charlottesville.
