Newcomb Hall Theater, Evening Film Screening and Discussion, Sicko+
Special Collections Library, All Day Workshop

The UVA Sustainability and Health Symposium will initiate a dialogue concerning the linkages between the fields of sustainability and community health to investigate ways to foster greater connections at the academic, community and global scales. Through a film screening, panel presentations and facilitated discussions, workshop participants will discuss emerging issues in these fields and create an agenda for integrating research and action.

Outcomes from the workshop will be utilized to develop UVA curricula, to inform research agendas, and to identify community outreach opportunities.
