Maggie Hansen and Suzanne Mathew’s project, “Delta Matrix: Hydrology as Adaptive Infrastructure for Baltimore,” has been awarded a Special Mention in the Urban Design Category of d3’s Natural Systems 2010 international architectural design competition.

Hansen and Mathew are May 2010 graduates of the Master of Architecture program, and are currently completing their final semester of the Master of Landscape Architecture program. Their project, completed as part of Jorg Sieweke’s studio during the Spring 2010 semester, focuses on the intersection between architecture and natural systems.
