UVa News Services, April 27, 2009 — School of Architecture Dean Karen Van Lengen came to the University of Virginia in 1999. During her tenure, the school has undergone dramatic transformations. The changes in curriculum and the physical environment have greatly contributed to the continued high regard of the school.

As she prepares to step down this summer, Van Lengen reflected on the state of architecture education and her accomplishments. Below are excerpts from that interview.
