University of Virginia: School of Architecture

Phoebe Crisman, Associate Professor of Architecture, was one of six faculty members honored by the University of Virginia Office of Engagement during its Alumni Education Faculty Speaker Recognition Event on September 22, 2010. The faculty, selected from across the University, were recognized for their outstanding contribution and dedication in sharing their wealth of knowledge--having gone above and beyond in presenting their work to alumni, parents, students and friends.

Crisman was specifically recognized for sharing her work on the Learning Barge, a 120 ft. floating environmental wetlands classroom on Virginia's Elizabeth River that was christened in September 2009.
