Design + Community Engagement
Multidisciplinary collaboration increases the knowledge base for envisioning and communicating innovative approaches to promote change. This shared work is tied to our School’s curriculum, allowing our students to explore connections between the research interests they pursue at school and existing community needs. Through design and public service, they are able to apply their skills to compelling social issues, gaining real–life experience in the process and broadening their conceptions of what professional practice can be.
