Elizabeth River Project Receives NEA Innovation Grant for The Learning Barge Project
The National Endowment for the Arts announced that the Elizabeth River Project will receive a $20,000 Innovation Grant in Design (2009) to support the Learning Barge Project, founded and directed by Associate Professor Phoebe Crisman. In partnership with the School of Architecture Foundation, the project will use the grant funds toward publications, a website, and residency for a designer/art outreach educator.
