Asst. Professor Sheila Crane Selected as University Teaching Fellow for 2008-09

Assistant Professor of Architectural History Sheila Crane has been selected as one of seven University Teaching Fellows for the 2008-09 academic year. The program, which is sponsored by the Teaching Resource Center, "aims to help our most intellectually sound and successful junior faculty members develop into exceptionally fine teachers. Thus the selection committee—comprised of award-winning faculty—seeks to choose each year junior faculty members who show promise of becoming both eminent researchers and inspiring teachers."

The fellowship includes a $7,000 stipend to help fund summer research, as well as ongoing interdisciplinary sessions and teaching mentorships for the duration of the academic year.
