Hey guys,
I just wanted to remind everyone to scan their work from the first two reviews. We decided to save info as tiffs at 300 ppi. If the file is really big, resize it to 11x17. You can save you scans in the 'Scanned Files' folder in our classes folder. Also, please save the files with a name that identifies the file or save multiple files in an appropriately named folder.
Thanks a lot,
Ben
David and I have selected a second site to complement the PHA-owned interior lot which has a narrow, SE frontage onto 4th St. The second site is just one block to the south, at the NE corner of Oak St. and 4th St. , with a narrow frontage to the NW.

I recommend everyone spend some time on the Building Green website -- since the library has gone out of their way to make it available. In particular, you might want to check out the case studies. Under single family residential building type, you'll find several useful examples. Note that there are various topics in a column on the left -- there is more information than what appears on the first web page of the case study -- some of them include costs, and specific energy or water strategies.
Here's the names and email addresses of the 3rd year engineering students. I believe we will have one or two more involved not listed here.

Here's the notes from the pizza joint where we began the process of defining our collective design criteria for ecoMOD. We plan to continue revising this list to reflect our discussion. See the attached image.

Check out this image I found online at getty images. I can only take credit for the personal ecoMOD touch. Just thought it was fitting.
Here's some of the various text documents created thus far -- useful for pasting together fundraising text --
hey everyone.
at our meeting with katie on wednesday, we decided that one of the first things we need is an ecoMOD "logo" to go on all of our graphic materials and drawings. if you're interested, submit a design (or multiple designs) to me. we'll then have a vote. the only restriction is that the word ecoMOD must be lower-case for "eco" and upper-case for "MOD." it doesn't have to be garamond font, either. the deadline for submissions is wednesday, 13 october, 2 pm. happy designing!
marilyn.
ps - if no one submits anything, 1. i'll be sad, and 2. you'll be stuck with whatever i come up with. i'd rather have this be a collaborative effort :)
