Spring of 2007 commenced the building process of the Learning Barge. This spring, students completed construction of the armature wall and the bathroom enclosure, as well as designing the water filtration and collection systems.

Construction will continue in the Spring of 2008 with Phase Two, during which the remaining pieces off-site pieces will be constructed.

Phase Three, on-site construction, will take place in the summer of 2008. The expected completion date of the Learning Barge is August of 2008.
