Richard Price is an architect, urbanist and real estate developer with extensive expertise in sustainable design. He is President of The Folsom Group, a firm focused on sustainable design and development with offices in Charlottesville, Virginia and Sarasota, Florida. He consults widely on green building and planning, and has taught courses sustainable design and planning in the School of Architecture at the University of Virginia.

Mr. Price has a B Arch and a BS in Environmental Design from Ball State University, and a Master of Design Studies degree from the GSD at Harvard. Prior to opening his own firm, he practiced in New York, Paris and Boston, and was Director of Community Design for William McDonough + Partners in Charlottesville.
