Associate Professor John Quale will be the featured speaker at JRGBC's monthly free luncheon in February. The focus will be on affordable housing and ecoMOD, a multi-year research and design / build / evaluate project at the School of Architecture, in partnership with the UVA School of Engineering and Applied Science. In particular, Quale will talk about both the ecoMOD and ecoREMOD projects,  recent ecoMOD4 Project for Habitat for Humanity, as well as ecoREMOD1 in Charlottesville and ecoREMOD2 in Falmouth, Jamaica. He will also talk about his grant with the Tobacco Indemnification Commission to commercialize an ecoMOD design for affordable housing organizations in Southside and Southwestern VA, and an emerging multi-year project with AHIP.
