Adam Yarinsky, FAIA, LEED AP is Principal of Architecture Research Office (ARO), a 27-person firm based in New York City. ARO’s diverse body of work—spanning strategic planning, architecture and urban design—has earned the firm over seventy-five design awards including the Smithsonian Cooper-Hewitt 2011 National Design Award. Adam holds an undergraduate degree in architecture from the University of Virginia and a Master of Architecture from Princeton University. He has taught at Harvard University, The University of Michigan, Princeton University, Yale University, The University of Virginia and other institutions. He has also lectured widely and written about ARO’s work. This past June, Adam was awarded the 2017 School of Architecture Distinguished Alumni Award at UVA.
