The multi-location event is being facilitated by the Charlottesville Community Design Center in Partnership with the City’s Neighborhood Development Services Department. Professional designers and planners will facilitate in teams that:
” Provide opportunities to creatively address issues that are consistent with the community’s Guiding Principals
” Maximize participation from neighborhood residents in creating new vision
” Encourage ownership on future direction
” Increase capacity through introducing and utilizing design resources
Outcomes will include both graphic and text-based notes & maps from neighborhood conversations. Overlapping solutions between neighborhoods that share targeted concerns will also be addressed. Input will shape and inform the Comprehensive Plan process as it moves forward.
