  Setting Type Attributes

lastnext

The character palette has controls for manipulating type by allowing you to set the font, size, leading, kerning and other type characteristics.
If the character palette is not visible choose Type<Character Palette. Once type has been selected its attributes are displayed in the character palette, and selecting different attributes immediately changes the type.
Note:In order to change type attributes you must first select the type using the selection tool.
