Library Research Instruction — Online Tutorials

The university library system offers online tutorials

on a variety of topics related to scholarly research, databases and searching, RefWorks and EndNote, etc. Free to University faculty, staff and students.

ITC Training Services

Various training services on Office technology, Computing Survival Skills, Web Certification, and more. Some are online, others are instructor led. Some are offered through the University Office of Learning and Development. Most are fee-based.

SARC Equipment Orientations and Workshops

Laser Cutter Orientation

This course is an orientation to using the laser cutters, raster and vector processing, materials, software control, and safety. This course is required of all who want to use the equipment. After you take this course, you will be placed on the login list to access the machines.

Roll Scanner Orientation

This course is an orientation to using the wide-format roll scanners in the studios. General use, safety, and care of the machines are covered. This course is required of all who want to use the equipment. After you take this course, you will be placed on the login list to access the machine.

Training sessions are offered regularly during the semester. Watch for email annoucements and sign-up sheets on the door to the labs.
