| Bates Masi Architects is a LEED accredited eight-person architecture firm located in Sag Harbor, New York specializing in modern residential homes and boutique commercial in the New York region and abroad. Our focus is on innovative design, based on extensive research and knowledge of fabrication, digital fabrication, craft, construction, and materials. Last year we were honored with 9 AIA design awards and numerous publications, including a cover story in DWELL. The firm is a design-oriented partnership with an emphasis on providing a good learning environment. The successful applicant’s qualifications must include: · A professional degree in architecture from an NAAB accredited school · 1-2 years of experience in construction documents, detailing, digital modeling, digital fabrication, and graphics · An interest in the application of digital methods to fabrication, construction, and building science · Excellent communication and organizational skills · The ability to condense, categorize, and present research and ideas · Knowledge of sustainable building practices and/or LEED accreditation is an asset · Must be eligible to work in the United States and willing to relocate to the Hamptons | ||
