Description
THE UNIVERSITY OF TENNESSEE, KNOXVILLE -- The School of Architecture seeks candidates for one
or more full-time, limited term, visiting positions in architectural design, at the Lecturer rank, commencing Spring Semester 2010. Appointments will be made for periods from one semester to one year, depending upon circumstances, with the possibility of extension for an additional time period. Candidates should be qualified to teach architectural design at all levels in both the undergraduate and graduate programs. In addition to design courses, candidates are expected to contribute to teaching required non-studio courses.

Interest in the following areas would meet our current needs and/or strategic priorities within a design-
focused curriculum: building construction technology and methods of representation. Applicants must
possess a Master of Architecture degree, or its equivalent. Post-professional degrees and experience in
teaching, distinguished practice and/or professional registration is desirable. Preference will be given to
individuals with demonstrated excellence and accomplishment in design.

The Visiting Faculty Search Committee will begin reviewing applications on September 30th, 2009.
