Notes

1. All graduate students must take either ARCH 880 (Teaching Experience, three credits), or ARCH 782 (Independent Study, three credits), prior to graduation. ARCH 880 involves serving as a teaching assistant for an undergraduate class, with teaching assignments coordinated by the chair. ARCH 782 involves independent research on a topic chosen by the student in consultation with a faculty member.

2. Students may pursue a thesis in lieu of ARCH 802. Thesis students must take ARCH 821 (Design Research Seminar, three credits) and receive approval from the chair.
