Bridget Maley (MAH 1993) is the owner of architecture + history, llc. (a + h) a San Francisco based-architectural history and historic preservation consulting firm. Bridget brings 20 years of experience in architectural history, planning, and historic preservation to a wide range of projects throughout the West. a + h focuses on collaborating with clients and colleagues to create engaging stories that bridge the history of architecture with contemporary design and urban planning. Bridget has participated in award winning projects including: the rehabilitation of San Francisco’s Conservatory of Flowers; development of the Historic Downtown Los Angeles Design Guidelines; and various collaborative preservation projects in western National and State Parks.  She has served as President of the San Francisco Landmarks Preservation Advisory Board and is a former board member of the Chicago-based Society of Architectural Historians. Bridget began her career as an historical archaeologist working at both Monticello and Poplar Forest.

Bridget joined the Dean’s Advisory Board in spring 2013.
