Matching Gifts
Double or even triple your gift’s impact on the School! More than one thousand companies offer some level of corporate match for their employees’ philanthropic interests. You will be recognized for the full amount of your own gift plus any resulting corporate match.
Contact your company’s personnel or human resources office to find out if your employer, or your spouse’s employer, has a matching gift program or go to UVa’s Matching Gifts.
Gift of Securities
Giving stock through electronic transfer is the easiest method when a donor maintains holdings in a brokered account. Depository Trust Company, or DTC, is the clearinghouse for electronic security transfers. Each brokerage firm has a specific DTC number. When you wish to make a gift of stock, provide the following information to the transferring broker:

Account Number: N7M-001327
DTC Number: 443
Clearing Broker: Pershing LLC
Reference: (Donor’s name)
Please alert Gift Accounting at U.Va. (tel: (800) 688-9882 or (434) 924–7306) before the transfer so that the University can make arrangements with its broker to receive the stock. The University cannot sell an unidentified security. At the same time, please indicate that the donation is for the SCHOOL OF ARCHITECTURE FOUNDATION and state the purpose of the contribution, such as an annual gift, a pledge payment, or funds for a planned gift.
