The outpouring of generosity was tremendous, especially during these times. Special thanks to our Young Alumni (2000–2009) who had the most donors than any other decade, followed closely behind by the 1980’s graduates. Many thanks to the 47 first–time donors to the A–School — every $30 truly added up to something BIG! Thank you to the Class of 2009 students, Reunion year alumni (we’ll see you in June!), new and returning Dean’s Forum members, friends and family of the School, UVa faculty and staff, and all of you who make a donation year after year to keep the School going.

The $45,000+ you helped to raise in these exceptional 45 days, in addition to the $45,000 match from our anonymous donor has reenergized the School and all the funds will go towards maintaining the level of academic excellence and innovative ideas that we are known for.

Your unrestricted donations raised by this challenge are necessary for the School to meet its immediate needs such as student summer fellowships and faculty research support for ecoMOD4, Learning Barge and Initiative reCOVER, student travel to the Falmouth Field School in Historic Preservation, the student–run LUNCH publication and alumni activities. Every contribution – from $30 to $300 to $1,000, adds up to bring us closer to our goal and meet the $30K in 30 Days challenge.
