Society of American Military Engineers Hampton Roads Post

The Society of American Military Engineers, Hampton Roads Post intends to award multiple $2,000 scholarships to Engineering, Architecture, and Building Construction Students for the 2007-2008 school year.

Qualifications

Qualified applicants must be either: 1. A senior in high school applying for admission, or accepted to an accredited Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management curriculum at the college/university level, OR 2. A college/university student enrolled in an accredited Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management curriculum with at least a full senior college level coursework remaining for the 2006-2007 academic year. NOTE - Preference will be given to Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management curriculum that is related to the construction, operations, or maintenance of facilities, or in some way that supports America’s Defense infrastructure. There is no requirement for the student or parent to be part of a SAME Post. However, preference will be given to students who are members of a SAME Student Post or whose parents, guardians, or sponsors are members of SAME. Application Requirements
