Monticello Garden Club, Charlottesville, VA Ann Warrick Lacy Scholarship
The Ann Warrick Lacy scholarship is named for a former Monticello Garden Club member who loved every aspect of the natural world: gardens, landscapes, trees and forests, conservation and beautification. She also worked tirelessly to give students the opportunity to perpetuate her love of this world. At her death, The Monticello Garden Club and the Lacy family established this scholarship in her name so that students would continue to have the opportunity to study and better the natural world about them.Disciplines:

Qualifications: This scholarship is awarded annually to two students, an undergraduate student and a graduate student, enrolled in a Virginia college or university program. The applications will be judged on a 100 point basis with 40% consideration of financial need, 30% for academic abilities, and 30% for commitment to the chosen field and the attainment of future goals. This scholarship is awarded without regard to race, religion, sex or national origin. Deadline: usually in March
